CHRISTMAS MESSAGE BY THE HON. DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE FOR<\/strong> TOLON DISTRICT ASSEMBLY\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>

On this blessed occasion of Christmas, I extend heartfelt greetings to all people of Tolon District and beyond. We give thanks to Almighty Allah and God for the abundant grace, which has carried us safely through the year 2025. The divine guidance has sustained our families, our communities, and our District which ensured peace and development throughout the year.<\/p>

This season is not only a time of celebration but also one of reflection. We pause to review the year, including what we have been able to do as individual, families, organizations and country. Our deep reflections should lead us to acknowledge our shortcomings and resolve to do better in the New Year.<\/p>

I wish to pay special tribute to our revered Chiefs, whose wisdom and leadership continue to preserve peace and unity. I equally acknowledge our religious leaders both Muslim and Christian for their tireless efforts in nurturing moral values, fostering tolerance, and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among our people.<\/p>

The Government of Ghana under the leadership of His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, is grateful to God for taking the country through this year. By the grace of God, the Reset Agenda is taking shape. We have stabilized the economy and put Agriculture right to propel economic development through the Feed Ghana and Nkoko Nkintkiti Programs. The falling prices of food on the market are therefore no coincidence, but the outcome of deliberate efforts by Government.<\/p>

Government is giving meaning to Free SHS by improving upon the feeding of students and expansion of school infrastructure. I am happy to inform you that, through GETFUND, Tolon SHS and Kasuyili SHS have been awarded many projects ranging from classrooms to dining halls and toilet facilities. These projects are to contribute to the scrapping of the double track system in the Senior High Schools (SHSs). Meanwhile, students in all tertiary institutions of Ghana are benefiting from the No-fee-stress policy of Government.<\/p>

As we step into a new year, let us carry forward the spirit of love, togetherness, and service to one another. May this Christmas bring joy to our homes, hope to our hearts, and renewed strength to work collectively for the development of Tolon District.<\/p>

It is important to remind ourselves that, the yuletide celebrations should not give rise to over-indulgence. We have to be modest in our activities during the period including the use of roads, drinking and over excitement.<\/p>

On behalf of the Tolon District Assembly, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>
