Fire Safety Education for Officers and Staff of the Tolon District Assembly

This program is designed to equip officers and other workers of the Tolon District Assembly with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, preparedness, and emergency response.

The training aims to promote a safe working environment, ensure compliance with national fire safety regulations, and enhance the capacity of staff to respond effectively to fire-related incidents.

Emergency DISEC Meeting Held to Address Nyankpala Dispute

An Emergency District Security Council (DISEC) meeting was convened on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the office of the District Chief Executive (DCE) to resolve a political dispute at Nyankpala.

The meeting was chaired by the DCE and brought together key security stakeholders, including the Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Immigration Service, and other relevant agencies.

The District Assembly remains committed to working closely with security agencies, traditional authorities, and community leaders to promote peaceful coexistence and sustained stability across the district.
