Management meeting with the Hon. DCE

The District Coordinating Director (DCD) apologized on behalf of all staff for their tardiness, assuring the DCE that it would not recur. The DCE expressed appreciation for the staff’s attendance but voiced his displeasure with the lateness, emphasizing that it would not be tolerated in the future.

The District Development Planning Officer presented the 2025 Annual Action Plan, which sparked questions, clarifications, and discussions. The DCE encouraged staff to be mindful of their responsibilities and to work diligently despite the challenging environment and limited resources.

The District Health Director raised concerns about political interference in staff postings, particularly nurses, which can disrupt the delivery of healthcare services and undermine the professionalism of health workers. He urged the DCE to minimize such interference. The District Coordinating Director (DCD) supported this call, emphasizing the need to reduce political interference in personnel matters.
